Just got layed off in Florida, what can I do??? - florida land surveying
I worked for the company for 2 years to make the country, about 2 weeks I was in hospital for a few days, I have type 2 diabetes and work stopped my medication (story) and my blood Suger was more than 600 I work outside in extreme heat here, especially this July, so when I got home, I asked the light in the office, so I ran errands, organizing the team, what light is. Anyway, I went to work today and said he was discharged with 2 persons for "lack of work." Not sure if this is the real reason but I had my light for 3 days last week, and today I am a coward, without) prior notice, no termination (dismissal, my health is good until the end of the month (July LOL). Thus, financial and medical screwed. I sign up for unemployment today, and I will not get the insurance for $ 330/month for free, especially since most of you may have on unemployment in Florida, for $ 275/week, I have any chance of a possible legal case ?

I am not afraid, if they can demonstrate that new employees to replace immediately, the rejection of his application for lack of work. While the EU will be free from a reduction in benefits / health. EU rate in Florida is sitting around 3.4% is very low, compared to the average, but not the lowest.
Wyoming # 46 2.9
Idaho # 47 2.8
Nebraska # 48 2.8
Utah # 49 2.5
Hawaii # 50 2.4
Montana # 51 2.2
He can dismiss you without cause, but they must explain without giving any reasons. When state A reason must be able to bear it. If you are fired up for, too late and said that as a reason, and show that not all too late or too late and also to keep their jobs, then you win. As if to say goodbye because they have a lack of work and then immediately hire another person do the job and prove you won. A dismissal is much better than shooting and allows the compensation of the EU and the possibility of reinstatement.
